Three decades of breaking and fixing systems so you don’t have to.
I’m Chip Gowan—cloud infrastructure engineer, relentless tinkerer, and a 30-year IT veteran. If an operating system or server architecture has existed in the last quarter-century, I’ve probably migrated it, patched it, or had to rescue it at 3 AM.
I own a couple of local repair setups in Arlington and Mansfield (Computer Chip & Local Computer Guy—let’s be honest, the phones aren’t ringing off the hook, but the workbench is always ready). I logged 20 years in World of Warcraft—and while adulting cut into my raid schedule, I will gladly dabble in WoW until the servers go dark. These days, my favorite playground is building small, automated hubs to track my fitness biometrics, budget, and daily reflections.
